At 18 weeks:
Patient: I'm surprised you are that big already, are you sure you aren't having twins?
At 21 weeks:
Person: Has your butt gotten bigger.
Me: I don't know... I don't think so..
Person: You probably can't see it.
At 22 weeks: You are really starting to look pregnant from behind.
At 24 weeks:
Person: Wow, you really are looking pregnant.
Me: I know, look at this bump.
Person: No, you look pregnant all over.
Me: Oh well, I'm measuring normal, and 3-4 patients told me just today how small I look for 24 weeks.
Person: Well, they don't see you everyday and know what you actually look like.
Me: Well, I guess it's ok as long as I am measuring healthy.
Person: You better be ok, you chose this!
At 25 weeks: Grandma VB: You look fat!
Person: Your face is so red today and flushed. Why do you look so red?
Me: Maybe it's because I'm pregnant? Double the blood volume...?
These last two are said with love though...

hahaha oh my gosh, people are the worst-that 24 weeks lady is a dink, although I do kind of appreciate Brian's chunkster comment but my goodness, you look so great!!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. I think you look fantastic and so cute. These people (I will assume 99.9% of them were women) and they are probably just jealous that they didn't look near as cute as you do when they were pregnant!
