Maternity pictures from forever ago.

I meant to post these a million years ago when I was 37 weeks pregnant. But then I had Owen and my life got flip turned upside down.. (in the best way possible)

We had a maternity photographer booked, but it ended up raining on our scheduled day and then she wasn't able to reschedule. So my friend Kimber took some pictures up on Alpine Loop for us last minute!

Anyways, now I'm in the process of making a book of all my pregnancy posts and I wanted some maternity pictures to be included. Looking back on these pictures is so crazy. I don't even remember having such a big bump! I miss it! But obviously having Owen is way better than being pregnant. :)

Being pregnant was such a cool experience. The women's body is so amazing, it just knows how to grow another human and change and adapt to make room. It's so amazing! I am definitely not ready yet, but I'm excited for when I get to be pregnant again!

8 months old

8 month old BABY!

Owen finally got teeth so we decided to start brushing those little teeth and Owen definitely agreed. He LOVES to brush!

This month Owen:  

1. Learned to blow raspberry's. It's all we ever hear these days.
2. Got so good at self feeding, and he mostly uses his left hand!
3. LOVES puffs. we call him the puff master.
4. Became even more picky at nursing, and really only prefers the left side. also if milk doesn't come immediately he is mad. we sometimes have to switch sides 10x before my milk will let down and he will settle. I'm still pro nursing and glad I am doing it, but boy it's been a lot of work.
5. Learned how to crawl on jan. 22. he was so frustrated leading up, and he is so happy now just crawling wherever he wants!
6. Got a third tooth on his bottom left side. I was busy watching for the top two, that this one just snuck up on me (forgot to document first tooth dec. 23rd)
7. Loves to be clapped form, he starts bouncing and smiling
8. Is still on acid reflux medications. He has been on them since he was 12 weeks old. We finally have been able to cut the dose in half, but he is still spitting up pretty big pools at least 8-10x a day.
9. Weighs 20+ pounds. (he squirms to much on the scale to get an accurate reading)
10. Is on mostly a two nap schedule. 1-2 hours for each nap and I love it!
11. Has slept all the way through the night maybe 5x, but still mostly 12-13 hours with 1 feed.
12. Still loves my eyes and tries to get them out of my sockets.
